| Award winning artist, Betty Kovacs has done artwork in some form or another for most of her life, but it has been these last few years that she has had time to study seriously.
Much of her inspiration and encouragement has come from involvement with the local art community. She is a member of Plein Air Painters, Ohio Plein Air Society, Guild of Nature Artists, Hillcrest Art Guild, Orange Art Center, Creative Artist Assoc., Colored Pencil Association, Ohio Watercolor Society, Euclid Art Association and the Geauga Council for Arts & Culture.
Recently, Betty has discovered the wonder and enjoyment of working with the ancient art of Encaustic Painting (using colored, melted beeswax).
Participating in these shows, currently:
South Euclid Library – Guild of Nature Artist (through January) N. Chagrin Nature Center – Plein Air Painters of Cleveland (through May)
