We are featuring a demonstration by member artist, Alsie Clay
titled "Sand Mandalas, a Shared Experience".
This promises to be a very unique experience.
Alsie will be asking the audience to
participate with her in creating a Mandala using sand,
as she explains this creative "gift"
received from God, the result of a near death experience.
Alsie is an amazing person with an incredible bio.
She is a Kinetic Energy Worker
and certified Teaching Artist. She owns
"Artisan's Treasure, Studio of Exquisite Designs, Jewelry,
and Healing Through the Creative Arts, Symposia,"
since 2010, at the Shore Cultural Centre, Euclid, OH.
Her favorite artistic media
include energetic watercolor, gemstone jewelry creation,
clothing design, kinetic sand mandalas, and meaningful digital art pieces.
Come to the meeting and learn more about her.
Join in the fun of creating a mandala!

SPECIAL THANK YOU AND TRIBUTE TO . . .
Member, Kirk Ramsey retired as Euclid Art
Association's webmaster at the end of May, a position held since joining EAA in 2013. After being
the webmaster for more than twelve years, Kirk said, "I gracefully bow out and give my regards to
the Euclid Art Association, wishing you well as you move forward into the brave new world of your
new, improved website and all that it offers." In recent months Kirk has assisted in the transition
to Jim Owens, a new member with the necessary skills. Kirk Ramsey has set a high bar for all
members to use one's own skillset to step up and fill a need. We are grateful for his countless
hours of service to the Euclid Art Association. "Kirk, enjoy your new found free time and don't be
a stranger!" READ the complete tribute on the Events page.

When EAA membership year ends on June 30, Sue Herrle's longtime service as secretary will
also come to an end. A recognition was read at the June meeting. "Her dependable service has
left this organization better than it was." Her husband Tom was ever present and "available to
mind the door or help with hanging shows, not to mention taste testing the treats from the table.
Sue has set a high bar for the many jobs that she did so well, and Euclid Art can best honor her by
using the example of her high standards."
