I am a graduate of Notre
Dame College with a degree in Biology and Chemistry, retired
Registered Medical Technologist, wife, mother of five, and
grandmother of eight handsome grandsons and one little
princess all under the age of twelve.
Decorating doll houses with my three girls provided my first introduction into the world of miniatures and painting for which I shall be forever grateful. Not only have art classes and membership in various art associations introduced me to a new group of friends with whom I share a common interest, but also fostered a new way of looking at the world around me.
Although my formal education had little to do with art, I have studied under a number local artists in the Cleveland area and from each I have taken some wonderful nugget of knowledge. I belong to the Hillcrest Art Guild, Euclid Art Association, Creative Artists Association of Lake County, and Geauga Arts Council. My work has been displayed in a number of local shows and has won a number of awards. It has also been represented in the Galleria Art Gallery in downtown Cleveland and recently by a solo show at UH Geauga Medical Center.
My love of nature and gardening has been the inspiration of much of my work.
