Pat Snook

I loved art as early as I can remember. A native New Yorker, I delighted in trips to the Metropolitan Museum. The high school I attended was like a magnet school of today and offered a choice of classes. I chose art. After graduation, art was put on the shelf. Marriage and family took precedence.

Later in life, I revisited that shelf often, taking classes in art. I work several media: oil, pastel and watercolor. Many of my paintings are from places I visited to study art, Venice, Provence, Ireland, London, Maine, Santa Fe, Florida and San Diego.

My work has been chosen for a wide variety of New York regional art shows and won numerous awards. You may see a sample of my paintings on my Web site
