EAA BIO BOOK
Euclid is participating in the America 250 events this year. Each month a different theme will highlight Ohio’s diverse and impactful legacy. For the month of May: Appreciate artistic endeavors with “Ohio Creates: Arts, Culture, & Literature.” The Euclid Art meeting date falls on May 4, so let’s demonstrate “May the Fourth Be with You” and upgrade our Bio Book to document the stories of EAA artists. Let’s aim for 100% representation in the Bio Book at our May meeting. Right now only 25% of current members are included! This book will be available to guests at the next Fine Art Show at Euclid Public Library, and its “out-of-date” status has been noted. The solution for each member artist in its simplest format is a single standard size 8.5 x 11” paper, with two sides. EAA will add your profile to the binder in a plastic sleeve. If you have a professional brochure or business card, it can be included.
BACK AT THE LIBRARY – ANNUAL ART SHOW
The EAA tradition of a “spring” show at the Euclid Public Library returns this year. As the library processes its reopening, the dates of July 11 to July 18 have been selected for the Euclid Art Association show this year. During recent library renovations, EAA successfully exhibited members’ work at other venues. The later date for 2026 gives artists more time to create works of art with high impact! Take advantage of this great homecoming. While Ellen Howard continues in her role as Art Shows Chairperson, this will not endure forever. While assistance in staging shows is always appreciated, it would be valuable to have members step up to learn how shows are planned and organized as well. Notify Rozenia if interested.
